Having a strong foundation in the philosophy of ones own relationship to your students and the class room environment is important for the further development of academic relevance in society. The question I constantly ask myself is, do I effectively articulate the concept of an assignment in relation to a real life context. My goal as an educator is to incorporate as many applicable life concepts as well as build a strong technical and creative class environment.

so, the coolest new thing i have is "The Voice of the Poet - Frank O'Hara" - a book on CD with "never before released recordings." santa was good!
along with that, i do have an iPhone and have had it for well over a year. wouldn't take anything for it. it's an amazing little piece of technology with oodles and oodles of on-demand info right in my little hand. with it, a camera is always with me and i never have to say, 'wish i'd brought my camera.' so. . . maybe check out my site: iphonephotography.blogspot.com??
